So, yesterday my neighbor Kay and I took the kids to the zoo because it was a nice day out. Everyone else had the same idea so it was a little crowded but still fun(well, for everyone except Jack who apparently now does not like animals and feels he should not be made to do these types of things) This is a perfect example of why we have gotten a zoo pass every year since we moved here... you can go to the zoo for a couple of hours and wear your kids out and when they have gotten on your last nerve you can go home and not feel like you have to be there ALL day to make it worth the money you have spent. Actually, it was fun and maybe next time the kids will be lucky and we will splurge and get them all snow cones.
